About Us

What is PAUDC?

The Pan-African Universities Debating Championship is Africa’s largest and most prestigious annual academic debating event. Founded in 2008.

It brings together university students from across the continent to engage in intellectual exchange, public speaking, and policy dialogue using the British Parliamentary (BP) debating format.

The Open Winners of PAUDC 2025 are University of Ghana (Joel Kwodzo Yayra Aboagye & Jedidiah Kwame Henaku-Budu.)
